On 28 Feb, 2026, the US and Israel launched a joint strike on Iran, and the operation, called ” Operation Epic Fury” by the US, involved explosions that were reported across Tehran, and smoke filled the sky. Iran’s top leader, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was mainly targeted but was moved to safety.
President Donald Trump said, “Major combat operations have begun,” and told civilians, “Bombs will be dropping everywhere, stay inside.” He also mentioned that the primary focus is to destroy Iran’s missile systems, wipe out its missile industry, and annihilate its navy.
Where the Bombs Fell
The attack hits Tehran and other key cities, including Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermanshah, targeting military bases, government buildings, and missile sites. As per reports, fire, smoke, and widespread panic are everywhere.
The Israeli prime minister said, ” We are removing an existential threat.” In addition, he added that the strikes can create situations for Iranians to take their destiny into their own hands.

5 children lived in Minab, Iran.
1 civilian killed in Abu Dhabi from falling debris.

Iran Fights Back
