Various players took their names off the PSL just to be part of IPL 2026. In the past, Corbin Bosch picked the Mumbai Indians and left his contract with PSL.

Also, Zimbabwe’s fast bowler, Blessing Muzarabani, did the same and joined KKR as a replacement for Mustafizur Rahman, as the BCCI told KKR to release him.

Adam Zampa reveals reasons to choose PSL over IPL

Australia’s leading wicket-taker has pulled out of the IPL mini auction 2026 after being released by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). As per Cricket Winner, he said he was not rewarded the expected amount for his skill set by the franchise.

He said: “To be brutally honest, for someone with my skill set, the money just isn’t there compared to what’s available for other skill sets. Considering the amount of time the IPL requires, it didn’t seem like a reasonable choice for me to keep playing.”
