Top New Features and Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S26 Series

Agentic AI and Software

The biggest highlight of this series is the AI, which the company describes as the “Agentic AI” era. Agentic here simply means the ability of AI to act independently and handle tasks. It can now summarize your day, modify outfits in images, and much more.

It is designed to make everyday tasks simpler and more intuitive.

Hardware and Design

There are significant hardware and design upgrades in these new products. The S26 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the S26 and S26+ are powered by the Exynos 2600 (Samsung’s first 2nm chip).

A very effective and useful feature is the introduction of the privacy display in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. It restricts side-viewing angles, providing privacy in public spaces by making the screen invisible to others.

It is also said that the Ultra is the slimmest model yet, at just 7.9mm wide.

Camera and Battery

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 200MP main sensor with a wider $f/1.4$ aperture. It equips it to provide 47% more light than the S25 Ultra. Additional features include a 50MP 5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.

Talking of its battery, it supports a 60W Super-Fast Charging 3.0. The brand claims that it can get 75% charged within 30 minutes.

The S26 and S26+ feature a 50MP triple-camera setup. A notable feature in these models is the AI Image Signal Processing (ISP), perfect for getting better skin tones. The S26 features a slightly larger battery, 4,300 mAh (up from 4,000), with 25W charging, while the S26+ retains the 45W.

This Samsung Galaxy S26 series features a  “horizontal lock,” which will keep video framing stable during intense movement.
