Redmi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G (Special Edition) in the upcoming April, 2026. Xiaomi has been teasing the smartphone recently, hinting at its focus on a premium look and design, similar to the one seen in the Note 15 lineup. Redmi Note 15 SE 5G India Launch and Availability
Today, March 28, 2026, Redmi is launching the Redmi 15A in India. Interestingly, along with this, they are also teasing another smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G, confirmed for launch on April 2, 2026.
Notably, it will succeed the Redmi Note 14 SE, and a clear difference is already notable, as there will be several upgrades in display, performance, and design.
The phone will be available on Mi.com, Redmi official retail partners, and as the ‘Flipkart Unique’ product.

Redmi Note 15 SE 5G Launch Price in India
Although the brand has yet to reveal the launch price of this smartphone, it is expected to launch for between ₹18,999 and ₹20,999, depending on bank offers and RAM variants. Also, the standard Note 15 5G will likely launch at the price of ₹22,999.
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G Design and New Colour
The Note 15 SE 5G is gaining the ‘Special Edition’ tag thanks to its striking new aesthetic. Reports reveal that Xiaomi is coming up with a new Wine Red or Deep Red colorway, which would highlight it among the standard models. Other options are Frosted White and Carbon Black.
Speaking of the design, it has a premium finish with the back panel featuring vegan (texture) leather in the deep red shade. Additionally, the smartphone will have a shiny gold-colored metal frame, giving it a luxury finish.
Notably, the design is not completely new; the Note 15 SE 5G contains the square-circle (squircle) camera island, seen in the standard Note 15 series. However, it is rumored that the lens ring will have matching gold accents.

Lastly, the device is expected to be ultra-slim (around 7.35mm) with curved edges for better ergonomics.
