Display and Design

Reportedly, the P4 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ (720 x 1,570 pixels) LCD screen with up to 144Hz refresh rate. In addition, it has a 180Hz touch sampling rate and 900 nits peak brightness.

It will come with an IP64 dust/water resistance and MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance, suggesting good durability. Interestingly, it will feature a large battery of 7,000mAh, but despite that, it has a slim build profile of 8.4mm.

Lastly, it will be available in colors like Mosaic Green and Mosaic Blue (ColorPop design).

Performance

Realme’s new 5G series budget-friendly smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, along with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. To deal with the heat production during usage, the makers have introduced an Airflow vapour chamber, featuring a 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area.

Should You Buy Realme P4 Lite 5G?

From the specifications, it is clear that Realme P4 Lite 5G is focusing on people with longer usage, like students or working professionals. However, experts point out that pairing a 7,000mAh battery with 15W wired charging is not ideal, as the smartphone will take up to 4 hours to charge.

Realme has also introduced features like dual-view video and AI live photo, not to forget a 144Hz display, which isn’t quite common in this price range.

If these are among your requirements, you can consider buying, especially with launch discounts and bank coupons.
