Realme is all set to launch the Realme 16 5G in India this April with some unique features. With just days away from the launch, the company has shared key details about the smartphone, including its design, battery, and camera features. According to the report, this smartphone will feature a rear “selfie mirror” perfect for taking selfies more easily using the rear camera. Realme 16 5G India Launch Date, Price, and Availability
According to the Thursday announcement, the brand is launching its upcoming Realme 16 5G on April 2, 2026. It’s a mid-range smartphone, estimated to be priced between ₹27,990 and ₹30,000, based on its international debut in Vietnam.

Furthermore, it will be available on Flipkart and Realme’s official website, starting April 2.

Interestingly, this Realme smartphone’s standout feature is its physical, high-polish selfie mirror integrated in the rear module. Since the main camera is in the pack and has much better quality, it is a perfect addition for people to take selfies. It will automatically trigger a countdown for rear-camera selfies by saying, “Say Hi.”
There’s a horizontally aligned rear camera module, featuring a high-quality 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera with a circular LED flash and a small reflective surface called a “selfie mirror.”

On the front, there’s a dedicated 50MP wide-angle sensor useful for standard video calls.
Additional camera features include LumaColor Tech, which balances colors, accurate skin tones, and more with AI. Tools like AI Edit Genie and AI Instant Clip are perfect for outfit/hairstyle changes and for quick social media video creation.
Battery and Charging
Realme 16 5G to carry a 7,000mAh Titan battery with 60W fast charging and Reverse Wired Charging, allowing users to charge other devices like earbuds. The brand claims that the phone can last up to 2 full days on a single charge.
Interestingly, despite the massive battery, the phone is relatively thin at 8.1mm and weighs 183 grams.

Gadgets360 reports that there will be a 6.57-inch Flexible AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, it will have a peak brightness of 4,200 nits.
