Garmin is officially launching its Quatix 8 Pro, a premium nautical smartwatch built specifically for outdoor adventures. With just days away from its availability, Garmin has labelled Quatix 8 Pro as an ideal smartwatch for boaters, sailors, and outdoor explorers, thanks to its navigation and communication beyond the shoreline features.

The availability of Garmin Qantix 8 Pro to buy starting January 16, and is priced at $1,299.99 (roughly Rs. 1,17,500). To buy the smartwatch, customers can simply visit Garmin’s official website and place their orders worldwide.

With a 47mm and 51mm case option, people get to choose the perfect size for their wrists. It has satellite and LTE-based communication as one of its top-notch features. However, this feature would require active inReach subscriptions, adding more to its cost.

In addition to its marine strengths, the Quantix 8 Pro also has health and fitness tracking features. Official announcement reveals that it supports 100+ workout and activity modes, including water skiing, wakesurfing, and more. 

It also features ECG monitoring, heart rate measurements, blood oxygen tracking (SpO2), and personalized sleep insights.

Smart Features

While the marines and health features remain the primary highlight of the Garmin’s smartwatch, it also offers several smart features. Users can make contactless payments via Garmin Pay, store music for offline listening, receive calls, and receive app notifications. 

It has swappable QuickFit bands for variety and has built-in LED flashlights for safety and convenience in low lighting. 

Long Battery Life

Despite these many features and a bright AMOLED display, Quantix 8 Pro has a long battery life. It can go up to 15 days in smartwatch mode and 44 hours in the GPS-only mode. However, if users are using multi-band GPS, music playback, and LTE altogether, the battery will last up to 8 hours.
