US President Donald Trump suggested that US intervention could be an option in resolving the immense anti-government protests across Iran, eerily soon afterward, reports surfaced that Israel was on high alert, fearing that the situation could spiral into an international crisis.
According to Reuters, the Israeli leadership has begun to prepare for a US action in Iran, as international reaction looms, with violent protests clashing with security forces, and reports state that over 100 people have died thus far.

The report stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio Saturday, and they discussed possible responses in the event of American involvement in the increasing unrest in Iran.
