Tehran’s Gandhi Hospital Hit in Israeli Strike

There are no visible signs of the end of the Iran-Israel-US conflict, only escalation. The local news media channels in Iran recently reported that the Israeli strike had hit Tehran’s Gandhi hospital, creating visible damage to the infrastructure and panic among patients, healthcare staff, and relatives. 

Tehran Gandhi Hospital Struck Days After the Death of Iran’s Supreme Leader

On the second day of a joint US-Israel military campaign against Iran, Gandhi hospital became the target of an Israeli airstrike. Reuters and other news channels, including Iran’s ISNA news agency, confirmed that the hospital was hit by “Zionist-American air strikes,” creating chaos in the area.

Notably, the conflict continues in the Middle East, and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the earlier strikes. In some parts of Iran, people were seen celebrating the moment, while others went into mourning.

Several video footages from the hospital showed people running for safety, debris strewn across the floor, and more.

Nurses were Seen Carrying Infants in their Arms post Gandhi Hospital Attack

The strike caused major damage to the hospital, and the patients were impacted. The videos of scattered debris, patients, and relatives running to safety were seen. The scene of nurses carrying infants in their arms amid the blaring alarms led many to think of the way civilians suffer from geopolitical tensions.

Also, a police station, situated in the outskirts of Tehran, was hit by a strike on Sunday, March 1. The strike killed an unspecified number, while many were reported to be trapped under debris by local media channels.

“According to initial reports, a number of citizens were martyred and some were trapped under the rubble,” reported Tasnim news agency.

On the same day, Iranian state television was struck, and experts anticipate that Israel is taking its campaign to the heart of the Iranian capital following the death of the Supreme Leader.
