Bharat Mandapam Delhi during AI Impact Summit 2026 with global flags and security arrangements

New Delhi is witnessing high security and traffic rules as the AI Impact Summit 2026 gets underway at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. In addition, with global tech leaders, startups, international delegates, and policymakers attending the high profile events, leads have formed accurate advisories on parking, transport routes, security policies, and entry gates. In addition, delegates are strongly advised to review the official guidelines before heading to the venue to avoid inconvenience.

Parking & Transport

Bharat Mandapam’s internal parking space is very limited because of security arrangements and large crowds expected during the summit. Thus, officials say to avoid private vehicles if possible. 

The simplest way to reach the venue is via the Delhi Metro. Pragati Maidan Metro Station (on the blue line and airport express line) is the most suitable stop for delegates.

Designated off-site Parking Zones:

  • Around 1.5 to 2 Km from the venue, buses are arranged.
  • In addition, around 3Km away from the venue, regular shuttles link to the summit area.
  • Roughly 4-5 km away, there is a car park with shuttle connectivity.
  • Areas near Pragati Maidan may see restricted movement and temporary diversions to prioritise event traffic and security.

Entry Gates & Timings

Authorities have assigned particular gates for delegated entry – Bharat Mandapam.

  • Gate 4: Primary entry for vehicle drop-offs and taxis, open from 7.30 AM to 2.00 PM.
  • Gate 7: Operational after 2.00 PM, regulated access for delegates.
  • Gate 10: Suggested for Metro commuters (near Pragati Maidan Metro Station), open during summit hours.
  • Other gates may remain restricted and allowed only for special security reasons.

Sushma Swaraj Bhawan

  • Gate 2: The only authorised entry point for all delegates, regardless of transport mode. 

Entry Requirements

All delegates are required to carry a valid QR code-based registration pass issued by organisers. In addition, a government-approved photo Id is a must for verification at the entry points. International participants are required to show their passports. Security screening is compulsory at all gates.

Event Tips & Logistics

  • Arrive Early: Because of the layered shield and traffic limitations, delegates must plan to reach the venue at least 1 to 2 hours early.
  • Avoid Peak Traffic: To avoid traffic, use the metro or public transport to save time.
  • Stay updated: Follow officials from Delhi traffic police or summit organisers for real-time route shifts or any updates.
  • Venue Navigation: Bharat Mandapam carries various halls. Thus, shuttle carts and volunteers are positioned inside to guide delegates.
