Yash look from Toxic movie which has been postponed to June 4 due to Middle East tensions

Yash’s film has been postponed from March 19 to June 4, 2026, after the makers cited rising tensions in the Middle East as the primary reason for the change. Toxic: a fairy tale for grown-ups was originally scheduled for a big release on March 19, but on March 4, the team officially announced that the date had been moved back by more than two months.

Additionally, the statement from Yash and KVN Productions said that ongoing uncertainty, mainly because of the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran in the Middle East, could impact the film’s ability to reach a wide global audience, which is a key part of their release strategy.

The delay also means that the anticipated box office clash with Dhadak 2, starring Ranveer Singh, has now been averted. In addition, Dhurandhar 2 is still set to release on March 19, 2026, and will now have a solo launch window, giving it a clearer path to dominate screens and ticket sales that weekend. Moreover, fans and observers have expected a huge face-off between these two big films, but with Toxic moving to June, Dhurandhar will get more benefit from an undivided audience.

Toxic was shot in Kannada and English with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. In addition, it features Yash along with Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. The movie is directed by Geety Mohandas. The film was marketed as a major pan-India action drama built for global release, which partly determines why the makers chose to avoid releasing during a period of geographical instability.

With this strategy, Dhurandhar 2 stands to gain stronger box office momentum on March 19, and Toxic will target a fresh, less crowded release window in June.
