Salman Khan with filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. amid reports of a new superhero comedy film

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly in discussions with filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., popularly known as Raj & DK, for a unique superhero film inspired by the Hollywood movie Hancock. As per reports, the project is currently in the development stage and could mark the first collaboration between Salman Khan and the acclaimed director duo known for their distinctive storytelling style.

Sources say the discussion between Salman Khan and Raj & DK has been ongoing for nearly three months. In addition, the filmmakers are developing a high-concept superhero comedy mainly designed around Salman’s on-screen persona and mass appeal.

Further, the storyline reportedly revolves around a superhero who has grown tired of repeatedly saving the world and now wants to retire from his duties. Moreover, his plan to live a peaceful life fails as unexpected situations keep pulling him back into action, eventually leading to a much larger issue.

Reports suggest that Salman Khan responded positively to the concept and is interested in the idea. Moreover, he has reportedly asked the filmmakers to keep the film’s budget under control.

Unlike several superhero films that need massive visual effects spending, the actor is said to prefer a carefully planned production instead of an overly expensive project. Raj & DK are currently working on the screenplay while keeping Salman’s character traits and audience hopes in mind.

If development progresses smoothly, a detailed script narration is expected to take place around April 2026. As per insiders, the film could go on floors by November 2026. The project is reportedly planned to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Reel Life Entertainment.
