Hyundai Verna Facelift Interior Revealed

Hyundai is preparing to launch a refreshed version of the Verna sedan, and new looks of the interior have started appearing online. Now, let’s take a look at what the inside of the updated Verna might look like before its official release later this year.

One of the biggest changes is the cabin. The Verna facelift is expected to get a new steering wheel with a sporty look, along with a modern dual-screen setup. Both of these screens work differently; one shows important driving data for the driver, while the other manages music, navigation, and other controls. In addition, this setup makes the cabin look more high-tech and premium than the older model.

Moreover, the interior also adds red stitching on the seats and steering wheel in some versions, which slightly gives a sporty feel. Its brushed aluminium trim on the dashboard and a clean layout are designed to make passengers feel more comfortable and refined.

When it comes to space and features, the facelifted Verna is likely to keep various existing comforts such as automatic climate control, electric sunroof, connected car technology, and ventilated seats. Furthermore, it will also continue to deliver advanced safety systems such as level-2 driver assistance, which aids with lane keeping and collision warnings.

Premium Features and Tech Enhancements Inside

The updated interiors appear to take inspiration from Hyundai’s latest models, which offer the Verna a more contemporary look. The changes are focused on making the cabin feel newer and more enjoyable to use, mainly for tech-savvy buyers. In addition, under the hood, the facelifted Verna is expected to retain its present engine choices. It carries a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol pump engine and a 1.5 turbo petrol engine. The choices of engines are expected to remain popular as they are both popular amongst buyers and known for their smooth performance and efficiency.

How It Compares to Other Sedans in the Segment

The Verna will continue to compete with other mid-size sedans in India, such as the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus. In addition, all these rivals are also expected to receive updates soon. This makes this segment more competitive than before. The thought behind the interior upgrades is that Hyundai hopes to attract buyers for a mix of comfort, technology, and style at the competitive price point.

The upgraded Verna is expected to launch in India later this year, while Hyundai has not confirmed the exact date. According to the spy image and leaks, the company is finalising the design and feature list ahead of its reveal.
