Final Thoughts

April 2026 will see an impressive variety of both SUV and EV segments launched in India. The manufacturers of cars, on one hand, are still updating the models powered by internal combustion engines and, on the other hand, they are moving fast towards electrification.

SUVs will continue to be the dominant body style of the launches in future, and yet the penetration of electric vehicles will also keep on increasing steadily in the premium as well as the mass-market segments.

Ultimately, the truth will be revealed only when these models will be offered in the market and will be met with the actual consumer demand.
