The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G series was launched in India on Tuesday by the Xiaomi sub-brand, along with Poco X8 Pro 5G and the Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition. The device comes with strong features such as up to 8500mAh (typ) battery and many more interesting specifications.

Poco X8 Pro Series Price in India & Availability
Poco X8 Pro 5G comes with a very competitive price in India, with a start at Rs 32,999 for the base variant 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the top variant of 12GB+256GB RAM and storage costs Rs 35,999, as per gadgets360.com.
Talking about the Poco X8 Pro Max 5G price in India, it starts at Rs 42,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant. The top variant comes around Rs 46,999 for the 12 GB+512 GB variant.
For the buyers who are waiting for the discounts, the company is providing up to Rs. 3,000 bank discounts with HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI cards.
The new phones will go on sale in India on March 23, 12 PM IST via Flipkart.

Battery & Charging
The Poco X8 Pro Max 5G comes with a massive battery of 8500mAh (typ) mAh, which can easily last up to two or three days with normal usage. It also supports 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging.
On the other hand, the Poco X8 Pro 5G provides a smaller 6,500mAh battery but still offers a full day or more of usage with the same fast charging support.
The company claims that the Pro Max model provides more than three days of battery backup with moderate use, over 18 days of standby, or about 30 hours of online video playback on a single charge.
Performance & Features
The pro Max model is powered by a more advanced 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, which presents better speed, smoother performance, and efficiency, mainly for gaming and multitasking.
It also comes with a Type-C USB port, an infrared sensor, dual SIM slots, stereo speakers, and an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
For thermal control, the handset gets a Poco 3D Ice Loop cooling system with a 5,800 sq mm heat dissipation area. The device is also protected by Corning’s GORILLA Glass 7i shield.
The Poco X8 Pro 5G runs on a 4nm Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, which is still powerful but less efficient than the Pro Max model.
To manage the temperature during resource-intensive tasks, the handset carries the same cooling system as the Pro Max model.
It is also protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i shield and features a Type- C USB Port, infrared sensor, dual SIM slots, stereo speakers, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

The Poco X8 Pro Max features a larger 6.83-inch 1.5k AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate with high brightness, showing a better viewing experience for videos and gaming. The Pro Max variant comes in blue, black, and white shades. Also, it comes with HyperOS 3.0 (Android 16).
On the other hand, the Poco X8 Pro 5G has a slightly smaller 6.59-inch AMOLED display with the same display quality. The Pro variant is offered in Black, Green, and white colours. It comes with the HyperOS 3.0(Android 16).
Both devices come with strong dust and water resistance ratings of IP66+IP68+IP69+IP69K.
Camera
Both models, Poco X8 Pro Max and Poco X8 Pro 5G, provide the same camera setup. They include a 50 MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP Ultra Wide lens, along with a 20 MP front camera for better selfies.
