Exterior

The new Verna 2026 is built on the sharp designs of the 6th-gen model, which was launched nearly 3 years ago, in 2023. Taking off the exterior, the car has gotten new and distinctive LED projector headlamps. Users can easily distinguish it from the older Verna with this update.
An additional difference includes the large grille with a dark chrome finish. Even the bumper designs have been refreshed with new fin-type elements. However, the full-width LED strip and bonnet design are still the same.
Hyundai has added two new color options to the 2026 Verna Facelift, which are Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.

On the side view, the wheels are made up of new R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels. Other than that, most of the elements remain the same.
In addition, the bumper has been upgraded on the rear with a silver trim and diffuser-style lower section. This will give a more SUV-like appearance. Note that the rear lighting elements are still the same.
Interior

On the interior, the new Verna features a new 4-dot steering wheel. It is similar to the one used in the new Venue and Ioniq. Another change is in the digital instrument cluster, as it has refreshed graphics. However, the 10.25-inch infotainment and instrument screens remain the same.
The makers have kept the dual-tone black and white interior theme from the old Verna. The Turbo petrol variant is an exception, so it will continue with an all-black interior.
Safety and Other Features
The 2026 Hyundai Verna Facelift comes with upgraded safety features, thanks to the 360-degree camera, blind-spot view monitors, and rain-sensing wipers. Interestingly, the top variant even features 7 airbags, 1 more than the old Verna.
2026 Verna vs Old Verna: Engine and Performance
Among all these major design changes, the core remains the same. The 2026 Verna Facelift features the same engine as the old model, which is the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 115 PS and 143.8 Nm of torque. It is offered with a 6-speed manual or iVT transmission choice. 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque are generated by the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.
