Apple Studio Display monitors featuring 5K Retina XDR display and premium design

Apple Studio Display standard glass and the all-new Studio Display XDR have been officially launched in India. Both monitors are part of Apple’s latest display lineup and bring major upgrades, mainly in connectivity and performance. They were announced with pre-orders starting on March 4, 2026, and will start shipping and be available in stores from March 11, 2026.

Key Display Features & Specs 

The studio display supports XDR features a 27-inch 5K Retina XDR screen with a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels and uses advanced mini LED backlighting with over 2,300 dimming zones for deep blacks and bright markings. It can go up to 2,000 nits of peak HDR brightness and claims CLA P3 and Adobe RGB wide colour gamuts for effective visuals. In addition, it has a 120Hz refresh rate with Adaptive sync, meaning smoother motion and better response for video and graphics work.

Thunderbolt 5 & Connectivity

One of the most vital upgrades is support for Thunderbolt 5, the newest high-speed connection bars. Both models come with two Thunderbolt 5 ports plus two USB-C ports, allowing users to link accessories, storage devices, or even daisy chain multiple displays. Moreover, the XDR model’s Thunderbolt port can present up to 140 W of power, which is enough to fast charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro, while the standard studio display offers up to 96 W of power delivery.

Camera, Audio & Smart Features 

Apple has upgraded the built-in camera on both displays to a 12 MP Centre Stage camera with Desk View, which automatically keeps you framed accurately during video calls. Moreover, the microphones are high-quality and pick up a clear voice for meetings or content creation. The six-speaker sound system supports Spatial Audio, which shows immersive audio when watching or listening to music.

India Pricing Details

In India, the standard Studio Display begins at ₹1,89,900 for the tilt-adjustable stand variant. The premium studio display XDR, which replaces the older pro display XDR, starts at ₹3,99,900, and the price includes the tilt and height-adjustable stand. Both options are available with optional nano-texture glass and various stand-out mount choices.
