The Afghanistan national cricket team is set to tour India in June 2026 for a short but crucial bilateral series featuring one test match and three one-day internationals (ODIs). In addition, the schedule was officially announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India from June 6 to 10, 2026, at the new Chandigarh Stadium in Chandigarh. Most importantly, this test match will not be part of the world test championship cycle; it will be a standalone test.
